Lead Pastor - Richard Lacey

My family and I have been at Woodgreen since September 2006. We moved from Bristol, where I had served as assistant pastor in a large inner-city church for 6 years.

Previous to that I worked in Bristol as a secondary school teacher of English. I loved teaching, especially the challenge of making difficult books accessible to my students. However in January 2000 I hung up my red pen and trained to be a minister. Ever since becoming a Christian in my teens I’ve had a growing desire to open up God’s Book, the Bible, and help others access its life-changing message.

I was brought up in Harrow, North West London, where most of my family still live. I’m married to Carolyn and we have two young children, Tiana and Jed, who are a source of great fun and laughter.

I enjoy watching rugby and F1, am an appallingly bad learner golfer, and also have a PS2 that comes out every now and again. I listen to Coldplay and David Gray, and as a North Londoner I support Arsenal.

Associate Pastor - Peter Barham

In Autumn 1998 I moved from Nottingham with my wife, Glenys and it has been an incredible experience and privilege to be part of a church where God is at work.

I had worked for 30 years at The Boots Company and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and challenges of different roles.  But that was then and this is now!  I can testify to the truth of Proverbs ch 16 v 9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." And God has brought us here.

I enjoy sport, gardening and when I find the time, a spot of art.  We have two fabulous children, Rachel who lives in Nottingham and Jonathan in Dunstable. We have become grandparents for the first time and take great pleasure in the joys and privileges of this new role.

Associate Pastor - Paul Hughes

I moved to Worcester in May 2008, with my wife Liz and two girls Chloe and Lois. I'm from North Wales  where I spent the last 13 years as a professional musician, and gained experience in Pastoral work. My particular interest is amongst emerging generations and training those who work in a youth context. I have a deep passion to see children and young people reach their huge potential which I believe can only be done under God's care. I love being involved in a church that is a resource centre for the family, welcomes anyone, and trains everyone to impact others with the astounding love of Jesus Christ. I also live the rollercoaster ride that is being an Everton supporter!
